Please note that you must be an actively enrolled student to receive the student discount. Your academic status will be verified as part of the registration process.
Students at the University of Oslo
Are you an actively enrolled UiO student? If yes, the University of Oslo is giving away 100 free tickets. Information on how to get one will be made available through the regular UiO student channels after the summer holidays.
Tenants at Oslo Science Park
Oslo Science Park tenants will receive information on how to get discounted tickets after the summer holidays via email.
All other festival attendees must register in the “Festival Pass” category. Attendees On Site will not receive further discounts.
Food & Beverages
Food is NOT included in the ticket price, but can be purchased on the festival site from different providers. Water and coffee will be made available at designated areas. You will be able to pay with card at all places.

GENERAL TERMS OF ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION
Oslotech AS and Inven2 AS (“Organizers”) organizes the nonprofit Cutting Edge Festival (“the Event”). These general terms will govern your attendance at and/or participation in the Event, together with the terms stated on any registration or other official document that relates to your attendance or participation at the Event (collectively, “Terms”).
The Terms apply to each attendee and participant registered for the Event, as well as any person, delegate, accompanying person, student, media representative, speaker, or exhibitor who is present at the Event (“Attendee”). By registering for and/or otherwise attending the Event, you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the Terms. If you are registering for the Event on behalf of another person, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person attending the Event is aware of the Terms and accepts them.
1 Registration and Payment
Event registrations are personal, but can be transferred to another person by written request to email@example.com. Payment of the registration fee is made electronically at the time of registration, through Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club International, American Express or Eurocard, or by invoice. Invoice payments are due in full within 30 days of the invoice creation day. You must pay the registration fee prior to arrival at the Event. You are also advised to have a copy of your confirmation when arriving the Event just in case you are requested to show proof of the payment on your arrival.
2 Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Cancellation by the Organizers
The Event’s schedule is subject to change without notice. The Organizers do not guarantee the attendance of any exhibitor or speaker, or that any schedule event will take place, and may, at their sole discretion, postpone or cancel the Event, or parts of the Event. Where the Organizers postpone or cancel the Event in full, you will receive a 75 % refund of the amount of your payment.
2.2 Cancellation by an Attendee
If you have registered for the Event and are unable to attend, please notify us by sending a cancellation request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Full or partial refunds will only be given if a cancellation request is made in writing to email@example.com, and under the following schedule and conditions:
- Cancellations received 90 days or more prior to the Event will receive 90 % of the registration fee.
- Cancellations received between 30 and 89 days prior to the Event will receive 50 % of the registration fee.
- Cancellations received 29 or less days prior to the event, as well as “no shows” are non-refundable.
All refunds will be processed after the Event.
3.1 Usage of photographic, video and audio material taken at the Event
Photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken at the Event by the Organizers or others on behalf of the Organizers may include an Attendee’s image, name, voice, and/or likeness. By attending/participating in the Event, you hereby grant the Organizers and its affiliates, licensees, sponsors, partners and presenters the unrestricted right and permission to use, reuse, publish, and republish video and/or audio recordings, photographs, presentations, statements or pictures of you or those in which you may be included, for any purpose including but not limited to commercial purposes, without compensation or credit to the you, in any media.
3.2 Usage of social media to share information
The Organizers welcomes and encourages the use of social media by Attendees. As a courtesy to other attendees, as well as to the Event sponsors, partners and presenters, we ask that you in addition to respecting the intellectual property of others follow accepted social media etiquette.
4 Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, the Event content and all materials presented and distributed at or on connection with the Event are owned by the Organizers and its affiliates, licensees, the Event sponsors, partners and presenters at the Event. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone else to use, reproduce or otherwise utilize any intellectual property rights, including trademarks or other tradenames appearing at the Event, in any Event content and/or in any materials presented and distributed at or in connection with the Event for any reason.
5 Attendee Conduct
The blend of ideas, experiences, and cultures that the Attendees bring with them to the Event makes the Event a unique and memorable experience. While the Event encourages open dialogues and exchange of ideas, the Event is committed to the health, safety, and dignity of each Attendee. All Attendees are expected to behave responsibly and to treat each other and the community with respect, kindness and compassion. The Organizers reserves the right, without refund, to revoke any or all credentials of attendees whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, disorderly or offensive by the Organizers or affiliated third parties.
